God is not unjust; He will not forget your work and the love you have shown Him as you have helped His people and continue to help them.

God calls us all to salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. But this does not limit us only to waiting for the great day of the Lord, when He will return to seek the saved. He also called each of us to serve His church. This is why He gave us the Holy Spirit to guide us.
Some of us may think that being in ministry is enough to please God, that doing many things will bring us very much closer to Him, even if we don't like what we are doing. God does not look at our efforts or at all that we have accomplished, but He takes into account the intention of the heart. That's what He rewards.
The Bible tells us to do everything for the glory of God. This glory is manifested in what we do for the edification of His people. God will not forget your work and the love you put into it. Whatever you do, do it with love like Christ. Not only will you be rewarded, but God will bless you even more because others will be blessed through you.
