Look, his ego is inflated; he is without integrity. But the righteous one will live by his faith.
Habakkuk 2:4 (CSB)
Although written for the men of Habakkuk's time, this message is also addressed to Christians today. However, it is aimed at a specific category of people. This category does not necessarily include unbelievers who do not know God or who reject Him. But rather of those who, even after having accepted Jesus at a given moment in their life, turned away from Him for lack of faith, and because of trials. They abandon God's way to seek the easy path to success. In this sense, their hearts have never been right with God. They had never held fast to the word of truth.
On the other hand, there are those who trust in the Lord and who choose, despite difficulties, to follow His path and live according to His will. They are those who are righteous in the eyes of God. They live by faith. I don't know what trial you are facing today in your life, but one thing is for sure, if you keep the faith and trust God, He will never disappoint you, because God always keeps His promises.
May the grace of God be with you all.
