Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding, for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold.

Those who have no money dream that one day they will be rich while those who are already rich invest their money to become even richer. Those who are still studying plan to have completed their studies while those who have graduated wish to have a more advanced level. No matter what stage we are in life, we all want to go further. However, we all neglect the most important things, which is worth more than anything we can possess: wisdom and understanding.
We can desire the greatest treasure in the world, the most coveted social position, but if we do not have wisdom and understanding, all this will be of no use to us. The Bible encourages us in every way to seek wisdom. Even James in his letter tells us to ask God who gives it freely to all. This means that wisdom is far more precious than any treasure and is worth pursuing with perseverance.
I don't know what you desire most but one thing is certain, seeking wisdom and understanding is seeking God himself, for He is the only one capable of giving you such a gift. He is the very source. It is not forbidden to want to possess the world but if you do not have the necessary wisdom and understanding, all this possession will be of no use to you. Remember that divine wisdom is pure, merciful, profitable and more precious than any treasure.
