But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
Acts 1:8 (NIV)
In this verse, Jesus tells us that we will receive power (The Holy Spirit) that will give us the ability to announce, proclaim and preach with authority the gospel of Jesus Christ to all the world. By this same power, we will perform wonders such as healing the sick, casting out demons, prophesying, etc. We will be His witnesses. Some believers want to receive this power but for their own interest, that of proving their spirituality and performing miracles.
If you think like that, believe it or not, in no case will the Holy Spirit reveal himself through you to accomplish the will of God, because his ministry consists in using us for the glory of God and for the edification of His people.
The best way to receive the anointing and to live fully in the spiritual is to humble ourselves, to walk in obedience to the word and to the voice of the Holy Spirit revealing Himself to you step by step. To move in the anointing you need to spend time in prayer, to study the word to have a better understanding of the will of God and to make friends with people who share your interest for God's business. Invite those who are unaware of this truth to join you in this spiritual journet. That's when you will see yourself moving and ministering in the spiritual.
