Indeed I will greatly bless you, and I will greatly multiply your seed as the stars of the heavens and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your seed shall possess the gate of their enemies.
Genesis 22:17 (NASB1995)
Sometimes, when we talk about regrouping, whether it is a political or social movement, we always see a category of people present. Depending on the reason for this movement, it may be that only white people are affected, so black people don't get involved. If the situation is reversed, white people don't get involved. If it is a situation that has nothing to do with race, then it will be about class and condition.
If we look at the behavior of the Jews, they were blind in their vision of God's plan. they have always considered themselves privileged compared to other nations. They viewed God's blessings to Abraham as their inheritance and were therefore all concerned about the future of the Jewish people. This is not what God had in mind. His plan was aimed at all the nations of the earth. Even in the New Testament we see Jews displaying the same behavior. They could not understand why Jesus cared about the Romans, the Samaritans, and anyone who was not a direct descendant of Abraham.
You and I are no different when we have to accomplish something, we limit ourselves to those who share our visions, our experiences, those who evolve in our environment; We limit ourselves to those who are in our churches. God used Abraham to establish His plan of blessing other nations. However, He used His descendants in their journeys and trials to reach those nations. Like God, see further than your congregation because God's plan of salvation goes further than what you see in front of you every day.
May the grace and the peace of God be with you all.
