My God sent His angel and shut the lions’ mouths, so that they have not hurt me, because I was found innocent before Him; and also, O king, I have done no wrong before you.
Daniel 6:22 (NKJV)
As Christians, we often face tribulation and danger simply for faithfully following God. As much as we would like God to keep us from all trials, He sometimes allows us to experience trials for His glory, to manifest or reveal His own righteousness. God wants us to have unshakable faith. If trials, tribulations and sufferings are what it takes for us to grow in faith, then He will allow them, for even stronger faith in God does not mean that you will be spared the trial of life.
Every believer should put his life in the Lord's hands. God does not protect us from trial but He always gives us the grace to get through them. He promises His presence in all that we face, that's what He said in Isaiah 41:10, “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand."
So now, wherever you are, I encourage you to open your heart to God and accept His grace for He always proves His faithfulness. That's what Daniel did and God made a way for him to walk among the lions with a song of victory.
May God bless you all!
