Words of Prayer: 08/01/26

Our God and Father, we bow before You to intercede for Your Church and ask You to grant it a spirit of unwavering perseverance in a constantly changing world. Give Your people the courage to stand firm in the truth of Your Word, unshaken by shifting cultural currents or adversity. Where weariness sets in, pour out Your renewing strength; in the face of opposition, grant persevering faith and grace marked by gentleness. Unite Your faithful in deep love and fellowship, so that through every trial, the Church may move forward with joyful hope, bearing faithful witness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Lord, we also pray for the ongoing sanctification of Your Bride; we ask You to transform and purify us daily by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Remove from us all self-sufficiency, pride, and compromise, and mold our hearts to reflect the holiness and compassion of Christ. May our worshipping communities be shining lights of righteousness, truth, and mercy in a world shrouded in darkness. Root out all hidden hypocrisy, deepen our devotion to Your commandments, and continually transform us into Your image, so that all we do may bring eternal glory, honor, and praise to Your holy name.
