Our Heavenly Father, we stand before You today in an attitude of humility and repentance to ask You to forgive us for any sins we have committed by our actions, thoughts, or words during this week. No matter how hard we try to live by Your word, we cannot avoid sinning even without knowing it. Therefore, Lord, we ask You to have mercy on us and cleanse us from all sin. Give us the strength to overcome temptations and lusts that surround us because without You we can do nothing.
Every day of our lives we look to the cross for the forgiveness of our sins. Thank You for never forsaking us but for making Your grace abound where sin abounded.
