A Light in the Darkness

The people who walked in darkness Have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, Upon them a light has shined.

Isaiah 9:2 (NKJV)

You are probably wondering if God will ever turn to you and forgive your sins. Well, I tell you, if you are asking yourself this question, it is because you have willingly distanced yourself from God because of your sin. You feel guilty, and you have neither the courage nor the strength to enter His presence, nor even to continue pretending that everything is alright. That's normal; it happens to all of us, because we serve a holy and just God.

However, I want to remind you that this is not the end of everything. For God has a plan of restoration for those who love Him with all their hearts. Do you see what this verse tells us? The people walking in darkness have seen a great light. This means that God was that light that illuminated their path to guide them on His way. Today, I sincerely tell you, whatever your sin, you have Jesus Christ, your light, who is there to bring you back to the right path. No matter how deep your darkness, He can bring you out of it. Repent of your sin and acknowledge your mistake.

Did you know that the men and women in the Bible were not all perfect? They all had a weakness that made them feel the weight of guilt in God's presence. So know that your burden is a fruit of God's grace, which reveals to you that it is time for you to return to Him and reconnect with Him, because only hardened sinners do not feel the weight of their sin, for they are complacent in their way of life. Be comforted, for God sees you and is reaching out to you. Let His light illuminate your life and bring you back to Him.

May the grace and peace of God be with you all.
