A Reassuring Confession

Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.

Hebrews 10:23 (NIV)

Do you often find yourself wondering about your future and having doubts? If so, that's normal. Even without realizing it, you hope for something, but you don't know if that hope will be fulfilled. One thing is certain: if you have placed your faith in Jesus, you have the assurance that, even if you have doubts, they will not prevent you from receiving the blessings that God has reserved for you in His Son. You may stumble sometimes, but as long as your faith is firm and your hope is in Christ, your future is secure.

God's Word gives us a promise linked to our hope. It tells us that if we confess with our mouths the Lord Jesus and believe that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved (Romans 10:9). What could be more reassuring than knowing that our confession of faith and our belief guarantee us eternal salvation? God is faithful; He will not fail to keep His promise. But your role in this promise is also important to Him. He wants you to have faith in His Son and not be afraid to confess it wherever you go.

Opening your mouth to confess your faith may seem simple, but it is an act that requires complete trust in God. Don't worry about tomorrow, for God will take care of you. Throughout the Bible, He has consistently blessed and fulfilled His promises. The promise He makes to you is to welcome you into His presence on the last day. Nothing will change this promise, least of all the difficulties of life that overwhelm you from all sides. Proclaim your faith in God, for it is this faith that assures you of His faithfulness.

May the grace and peace of God be with you all.
