Don't Lose the Faith

Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him; Do not get upset because of one who is successful in his way, Because of the person who carries out wicked schemes.

Faced with life's difficulties and God's apparent silence, our first instinct is often to believe that others are in the same situation. We don't want to see them progress. Their joy, happiness, and success make us jealous, even envious. This is a reality that David discovered deep within his heart. That's why he chose to cling to God's word so as not to sin against Him.

When you see someone moving forward in life or succeeding in their endeavors, instead of being envious or jealous, it's better to praise God for them. You are unaware of the trials they have had to overcome. Perhaps, as in your current situation, God has remained silent for a time, and the moment has come for Him to shine, according to His plan. Neither you nor I know why God sometimes allows us to go through trials. Often, it is to teach us an important lesson for our relationship with Him.

Therefore, don't be irritated by the success of others. You don't know what's happening behind the scenes. Often, your beliefs can mislead you. It's possible that, to achieve their goals, the one against whom you harbor jealousy has caused many to weep, and some are still suffering. If your deliverance is delayed, remain silent before God and persevere in prayer, for God rewards those who persevere to the end. Don't let the success of others shake your faith, for it is essential to gaining God's favor.
