Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.
2 Corinthians 9:6 (NIV)
Since childhood, a young boy had been used to seeing a woman sitting at the foot of a lamppost, begging. One day, as he was going to church with his mother, he asked her why the woman was always sitting in the same place, asking passersby for alms. His mother explained that she was homeless and couldn't work because of her very poor eyesight. The little boy gave the woman the money his mother had given him for the church offering.
As an adult, having found a job and noticing that the old woman was still sitting in the same place, he decided to rent a room for her, clothe her, and provide for her food and medical needs. One day, he was informed that she had passed away and had left him a package. He opened the package and found a Bible accompanied by a note: "God will raise in dignity the one who delivers me from my misery." This was her wish if someone were ever to help her, for she believed in God. This message awakened in him the desire to help those who sleep on the streets and struggle to survive. Ten years later, he became the pastor of a large church and founded a shelter for the poor.
Here is an absolute truth from God: He will bless those who care for others and provide for their needs. It's not necessary to give everything; your compassion is enough. That's all God expects of you to bless you so that you can bless others. Jesus Himself said that when you care for these people, you are caring for Him. Proverbs 11:24 says, "One person gives freely, yet gains even more" Wealth is not always what you see, but it is what God gives you in abundance to meet your needs. Don't miss this blessing.
May the grace and peace of God be with you all.
