God Remains Faithful

If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.

2 Timothy 2:13 (NASB)

After carrying her child for nine months, the bond between a mother and her child is so profound that she cannot neglect its needs. Even in an emergency, she would attend to her baby's care before addressing the emergency itself. It is a deep and unconditional love that no mother can fully explain. Even when her child hurts her, she may get angry, but she will never stop meeting its needs; all she sees is her child.

We have all experienced this wonderful love from our mothers. Reflecting on this should help us better understand the depth of God's love for us. Although there is no true comparison, if a mother can love her child to the point of sacrificing everything for its future, how much more will God never cease to provide for our needs? He is a faithful God; He will never change. It is because of His love for us and His faithfulness that He chose to give Jesus as a sacrifice on the cross to reconcile us to Himself.

Whatever the circumstances of your life, remember that God will never fail to keep His promises, for everything He says, He will accomplish. If He is willing to forgive your sins and grant you His grace, what wouldn't He do for you? God doesn't say that you won't face difficulties, but He promises to walk with you through them with a strong hand and an outstretched arm. Do not doubt God's promises, for He is a faithful God who cannot deny Himself.

May the grace and peace of God be with you.
