Prayer for the Addicted

Lord, we come into your presence to intercede for those who suffer from all kinds of addictions. The enemy is drawing them ever deeper into darkness, causing them to forget the true meaning of life. He makes them believe that the solution to their problems lies in their addiction.

Lord, we implore you, in your compassion, to look upon them. They are already so deeply immersed in their addiction that we can no longer reason with them, but we know that the Holy Spirit can open their eyes and make them understand that they are on the wrong path.

Hear our prayer, O Father, for we pray in the name of Jesus Christ, your beloved Son.
