The End From the Beginning

Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things which have not been done, Saying, "My plan will be established, And I will accomplish all My good pleasure."

Isaiah 46:10 (NASB)

What makes us doubt when faced with situations or circumstances we don't understand or can't manage? Contrary to what some believe, it's not a lack of faith or a problem related to our belief in God. Even when discouraged or filled with doubts, we maintain faith in God and believe He can do something for us. But we question the situation, we wonder about God's delay in helping us.

If we look at things as God sees them, our perspective will be different. We think God takes time, but He doesn't. We think God forgets us, but He will never do that with those He loves. Thus, what causes us to question and fear is rather our ignorance of God's Word. For if we knew His way, we could never doubt or question His willingness to rescue us from our difficulties. God will always fulfill what He promises us. The delay you are experiencing is related to your own time, not to God's eternity.

Why then is it due to a lack of knowledge? As this verse shows, God has already announced the end from the beginning. God reveals to us through His Word what He will do for those who love Him; He opens His heart through His Word to help us understand His intentions. Without knowing His Word, we will never be able to see or understand His way of doing things. As Paul said, everything was written down for us to learn. Your situation is part of God's plan for you. Don't worry, He will accomplish it.

May God's grace and peace be with you all.
