Guard my soul and save me; Do not let me be ashamed, for I take refuge in You.
Psalm 25:20 (NASB)
One of the most common tricks the enemy uses to lead the Christian away from God’s path is confusion. When he sees us seeking God’s presence and forgiveness, especially when we sin, he makes us think that God does not see us or that He has abandoned us. Even when God answers our prayers, the enemy will persist in making us believe otherwise because he wants us to lose our union with God.
Danvid must have had such an experience in his relationship with God. That is why the first thing he asked God was to keep his soul and save him. He knows that it is his emotion and desires that the enemy will attack to make him guilty before God. But, he also knows that only God can protect him from these delicate situations. If he happens to succumb, God will save him. This is a firm assurance that David shows us in his trust in God.
God does not like His children to be confused in their relationship with Him. When you seek God in the midst of your distress and do not see Him, do not be troubled by the enemy who will do everything to convince you that God does not see you. Persevere in prayer and ask God to protect your soul and reveal His presence to you. The enemy will not resist such prayer, he will flee from you.
May the grace and peace of God be with you all.
Amen. Satan always trying to fail us using our weaknesses
