So then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God’s household.
Ephesians 2:19 (NASB)
What does conversion bring, if not joining a community of believers and attending church every Sunday to participate in worship? This is how those who refuse to acknowledge their need for Jesus Christ summarize the Christian faith. Is this really what conversion is? Is it simply joining a community of believers?
By accepting Jesus as Savior, you become not only a member of a community of believers, but also of the family of God. You share God's grace and salvation with the saints, those who acknowledge their sin and confess with their lips that Jesus Christ is their Savior and Lord. By joining the family of God, you have the hope of eternal life. Your sins will no longer condemn you to the eternal torment that awaits unbelievers.
You see, conversion offers you much more than just a place in a community of believers. You become a child of God and benefit from His love, protection, and care. Have you already made the decision to accept Jesus? If you haven't yet, I invite you now to join this great family and benefit from God's favor. You are no longer a stranger in God's family; don't worry about what outsiders say.
May God's grace and peace be with you all.
