The Ultimate Question

Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, And whose sins are covered.

Romans 4:7 (NKJV)

Have you ever asked yourself one of these questions: What should I do to earn God's grace? Why doesn't God see me in my suffering? Is it because of my sin? Does God really forgive me for my sin? Each of us, believer or not, has at least once in his life reflected on one of these questions. There is nothing to blame if you did. Why? Because even subconsciously you know that you need God, His grace and His forgiveness.

However, you must know that, first, you cannot do anything to earn or merit God's grace. It's a free gift he gave you because he loves you despite your sins. Secondly, better than you, God sees and knows your sufferings. If he doesn't react as expected, he has his reasons. But that doesn't mean it's a punishment for your sins. Third, on the cross, Jesus Christ took away your sins. He took them with him to assure you of God's forgiveness and salvation.

You don't have to worry or fear the situation in front of you. Because God has already made his choice, that of saving you. Jesus accomplished it by his death. So don't worry, just believe and have faith in the son of God who has covered your sins with his blood.

May the grace of God be upon you.
