Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith.

According to the Bible, every Christian has received a gift from God that makes him or her a person with a unique spiritual quality. Gifting is an ability you have to achieve something under the power of the Holy Spirit. Often we know what we should do, but we can't explain how we do it. This is what the Bible calls the anointing.
However, we still find some believers today who say they have no gifts. For this, they do not participate in spiritual activities and feel inferior compared to those who exercise their gift for the edification of the Church. The gift is not something that appears in you one day and gives you greater power. Rather, it is this spiritual capacity that you must discover and learn to develop.
We cannot all be pastors, teachers, intercessors, and biblical counselors. We can simply be what God has called us to be. If you've already tried to discover your gift and failed, it's probably because you used the wrong method, try again. Pray to God to help you discover it, and take every opportunity you have to discover what God has called you to do for His glory.
