Words of Prayer: 01/25/26

Lord, in the midst of our storms, You stand by our side to protect us. When fear overwhelms us and makes us believe there is no hope, You remind us in Your word that You are in control of all circumstances. Often, we are so frightened by what is happening to us that we focus more on what scares us than on the ultimate purpose of our trials, which is to strengthen and transform us.

We want, O God, to learn to be guided by faith rather than by fear of the circumstances that threaten us. Following the example of Jesus, who slept in the boat during the storm, we want to maintain that same peace when life is turbulent. Help us to remember that Your promises will never fail and that we will always emerge victorious from danger.

In Jesus' name, we pray.
