A Prayer for All Fathers

Good and tender Father, today we lift up to You all the fathers and father figures in our world. We thank You for the essential role they play within our families, our communities, and our lives, and we implore Your continued blessings upon them.

Grant them strength and endurance, and give them the physical, emotional, and spiritual vigor necessary to face the daily demands of their responsibilities. Be their strength when they feel weary, and renew their energy each day. Fill them with wisdom and patience. Guide their hearts as they nurture, instruct, and educate. Grant them the patience to listen with understanding, the wisdom to offer sound counsel, and the grace to lead by example.

We pray for new fathers embarking on this journey for the first time; for those who are seasoned in the role, guiding children who have grown into adults; and for those who have stepped into a fatherly role to love and protect children who are not their own. Bless them all abundantly.

We pray this in Jesus' name.
