Prayer for the Broken Families

Good and tender Father, we come before You today with heavy hearts, bearing the burden of broken families. You know every wound, every unspoken suffering, and every tear shed in secret. Lord, where division reigns, we ask You to bring Your perfect peace—the peace that surpasses all human understanding.

We pray that You guard the hearts and minds of all, especially the children. Protect them from bitterness, anxiety, and fear. Enfold them in Your comfort and let them feel loved and secure, even when everything around them seems uncertain.

Soften hearts where anger or resentment have taken root. Grant wisdom, patience, and a spirit of understanding, so that the words spoken may be filled with grace rather than hurt. Where reconciliation is possible, open doors and pave the way. Where deep healing is most needed, let Your Holy Spirit begin that quiet work within every heart.

Remind us that even when earthly foundations falter, You remain our unshakable Rock and our anchor. Give these families the strength to live one day at a time, trusting that You can bring beauty out of the ruins.
