Words of Prayer 06/22/2025

How wonderful are Your works, Lord! You created us in Your image to reflect Your glory on earth and gave us full authority to care for it. Yet, we have stubbornly allowed ourselves to be guided by the lusts of the world. Out of love for us, You gave Your Son to the cross for our salvation and to reconcile us to You. What have we done in return? Neglect Your word and continue to follow the enemy of our souls.

Lord, we ask Your forgiveness and we beg You not to turn against us, for alone, we can never walk according to Your word and do Your will. Renew Your spirit within us and grant us Your forgiveness. No effort on our part can appease Your wrath and merit Your grace. In this, Lord, we acknowledge our faults and ask You not to treat us according to our sins. Purify us and sanctify us with Your word, so that we may enter into Your presence.

In the name of Jesus, we pray.
