Words of Prayer 07/06/2025

When we come to You, Lord, it is not only to ask for what we need, but also to worship and glorify You for who You are. If we are alive, it is because of You; if we are at peace with You, it is because of You; if we can hope for eternal life, it is because of You. Nothing we could do or present before Your throne would be worth all this grace You have bestowed upon us.

Lord, we pray fervently, do not treat us according to our sins and iniquities, do not abandon us, for without You we are nothing and can accomplish nothing. Forgive us, Lord, and cleanse us from our evil thoughts, fleshly desires, and wrong attitudes, and enlighten our minds so that we may live in a way that is pleasing to You.

In Jesus' name, we pray.
