Lord, we come to You once again to claim Your grace and favor for a new day. Each new day we live brings with it a new blessing that only You can give. When we come into Your presence, it is to worship You and give You glory, for You created us for Your glory.
We bow before You, our God, to ask for Your forgiveness for our sins. We have no merit before You except to recognize that it is through the blood of Jesus that we can approach You in peace. We have sinned in thought, word and deed; even unknowingly, we do what is not pleasing in Your sight. But, in Your compassion, You have looked upon us through Your son so as not to punish us, help us Lord to seek Your ways and live according to Your word.
