Lord God, thank You for Your blessings and for Your goodness. Thank You for Jesus Christ. Thank You for the sacrifice of the cross that allowed us to be at peace with You. Out of love for us, You spared us the eternal condemnation that would be the cause of our disobedience that led us to sin against You.
Lord, we know that no animal offering could grant us Your forgiveness. We are grateful to You for the plan of salvation that You have initiated for us. Today, we can say that we have the assurance of salvation because You have sealed it with Your spirit. Thanking You and obeying You with all our hearts are the only ways that we can show You our gratitude.
