Lord, when the difficulties of life assail us, we cry out to You for help. We know that You are with us, we do not have to be afraid. But sometimes, we feel discouraged and lost because, despite our efforts, situations are beyond us. That is why we always seek refuge in You rather than trusting in men.
Our God, You are our strength and our defense when we are weak. You are our shield when we are attacked by our enemies. You are our rock to protect us. Keep us close to You and help us to walk in Your ways.
