Words of Prayer 11/23/25

Lord, thank you for the cross, thank you for Your grace toward us. We deserved the condemnation that awaited us. Despite all Your efforts to lead us to repentance and to seek You, we strayed further through our stubbornness. We wanted to live according to our desires and do as we pleased. You could have abandoned us and poured out Your wrath upon us, but You chose to save us and free us from the yoke of sin that blinded us to Your infinite grace.

We entrust to You this blessed day when we gather to worship and praise You; may it be a source of joy and gladness, for we offer You our praises as a sacrifice of thanksgiving in Your holy temple; receive them to the glory of Your Son who gave Himself on the cross to draw us to You.
