Words of Prayer 12/21/25

Thank you, Lord. As the year draws to a close, we have so many reasons to praise Your name and thank You with words that our minds cannot fully express. You have watched over us, protecting us from many dangers of which we were not even aware. How many times have You spared us from unforeseen events? Father, although we may fear the circumstances, we know that our days are in Your hands. You alone determine our destiny, for You are the God who acts according to Your will, and no one can oppose You.

Lord, even though we have countless reasons to thank You for all the blessings You have bestowed upon us this year, we pray that You will not forget those who are suffering, whether from hunger, addiction, loneliness, or illness. Turn Your gaze upon them, our God, for they too need Your grace and Your comforting presence in their distress.

Allow them also to breathe a breath of fresh air and to have hope, for they desperately need it during this holiday season.

In Jesus' name, we pray.
