Ask, Seek and Knock by Faith

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

Matthew 7:7 (NIV)

In this verse, Jesus teaches us about motivation, faith, and the will of God to answer our prayer. He knows that God listens to us with attention. This is why He tells us to ask, to seek and to knock. If you ask for it, it will be given to you; If you seek, you will find. If you knock, the door will open. All we have to do is put everything in God's hands and trust Him.

When we seek God, we must desire to know him and do his will. When you knock, you must persevere, until the door opens. Asking also takes perseverance, but we must exercise faith when we ask in our prayers to be effective. Keep the conviction that your prayers will be answered. Pray victoriously, with thanksgiving, for your prayers will surely be answered.

So today, let us be persistent in our prayer life and ask in faith, seek diligently, and knock frequently, knowing that God hears us and will answer our prayer.
