If anyone comes to your meeting and does not teach the truth about Christ, don’t invite that person into your home or give any kind of encouragement. Anyone who encourages such people becomes a partner in their evil work.
2 John 1:10-11 (NLT)
Today we find that many call themselves Christians but refuse to accept the teaching of the Bible in order to adhere to it. They always find a false reason to justify their actions or their position in relation to the truth. They would rather form a moral idea than walk in obedience to the word.
Those who do so always look for allies to support their defense. They begin by changing the meaning of verses by giving them a different interpretation than what they mean. Paul warns us against them, telling us to stay away from them. The Bible calls them false teachers and deceivers.
As John tells us, if you are in the truth, walk in the truth. Do not be deceived by those who live according to the lusts of this world because one day you will have to give an account to God. For this, I encourage you to stay in the word and meditate on it day and night so that the Holy Spirit can guide you and reveal to you the will of God for you.
