Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified or dismayed (intimidated), for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
Joshua 1:9 (AMP)
Most often, when situations prevent us from achieving our goal and we don't know what to do, we usually feel stressed and angry because we can't get where we want. Regardless of the field of work, accomplishing anything is not always easy, especially when it comes to spiritual matters. We do everything in our power but we always have a barrier to stop us.
Some people use Positive Thinking to encourage us to move forward. They even make us believe that if we continue relentlessly, we will be surprised to see how far we can go. Sometimes we try harder and harder, but we get nothing from our own efforts. This is when we must turn to the word of God. Having faith in His promises, we begin to move forward in His strength, regardless of difficulties. If He says we can succeed, that means He has already prepared the way for us.
Joshua was to replace Moses to lead the people. It's sure that with everything he saw, he was a little afraid on some level of what awaited him. However, without telling him about the path he will have to travel, God preferred to assure him of His presence: "Be strong and courageous, - ...The Lord your God is with you". Today, whatever impasse you find yourself in, even if you don't see a way out, trust that God will not abandon you. Be strong, take courage and move forward with faith.
May the grace of God be with you all.
