Trust in the Lord

Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.

Proverbs 3:5 (NLT)

Many of us quote this verse most often when things are difficult. It’s as if by doing so, God will help us get through, no matter how. This may be one way of believing or understanding it, but it is not the right way. Rather, what you need to understand is that if you trust in the Lord rather than your human wisdom, He will show you the right path to follow and guide you.

The verse clearly commands us not to rely on what we know or think we understand. This means we must include God in everything we do. By doing this, we leave no room for doubt or fear of what may happen to us, because we know that God will never deceive us. It is important to develop intimacy with God, to give Him access to your whole life, not just part of it. This is how your life will align with God's plan.

God asks you to trust Him completely instead of relying on your limited abilities. To achieve this, you must admit that you cannot overcome life's obstacles alone and that you do not have the strength to continue the struggle. Today, as you face life's challenges, I encourage you to involve God in every decision you make to rectify a situation, because His ways are always better and greater than ours.

May the grace and the peace of God be with you all.
