Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
Isaiah 41:10 (NKJV)
When fathers play with their children, depending on the game, mothers tend to run after them because they may find these games too risky. It's like a father who sends his child into the air to catch it, it's a game that gives the mother chills. Yet the child only smiles. He loves the game. He doesn't see or feel his mother's fear, he simply trusts his father who will never let him down.
It’s a scene that always reminds me that the Lord is ready to help us in our difficulties, ready to keep us from succumbing. God is never far from us, even if we do not see him. As the verse says, He will always come to our aid in the midst of difficult circumstances that we go through. A child does not question what his father does, he simply believes it.
We also see in this verse that the Lord assures us that his right hand will uphold us. I understand that you may sometimes feel a little lost in this busy world, but always remember that your safety is in God. He will be able to strengthen you, reassure you and protect you. Be like those children who don't worry but trust their protective father.
May the grace and peace of God be with you all.
